NYS Creates Department of Financial Services by combining State Insurance and State Banking Department

This fall NYS combined the State Insurance and State Banking Departments to create the State Department of Financial Services in New York to consolidate oversight of Financial Entities. http://www.dfs.ny.gov/index.htm
